19 years of experience in horses, wild life and small animal practice. With a Master capacitation in Conservation of Forest Resources, Internship in laboratory techniques of molecular genetics for conservation, (Colombia), Internship at VMTH University of Davis, Equine Medicine (USA).
Treasurer (2009-2011), Dean (2014-2015) and Vice Dean (2016-2018) of the Veterinary Medicine College of Peru, where co-organize training workshops for professional certification by competencies (2009) of the CMVP on the basis of the Authority SINEACE from the Education Ministry.
Has organized the 4 workshop: EDUCAVET PERU (2014-2017). with Deans and Directors of Schools of Veterinary Medicine of 20 Universities of Peru. With agreements such as the Professional Profile of Veterinary Medicine in Peru (2014), the Basic Curriculum of Veterinary Medicine in Peru (2014); the functional map and the competition rules in Public Health (2015), Professional veterinary training programs required by society, state and companies in Peru. (2016), Priority Research Lines in Veterinary Medicine in the Framework of One Health (2017).
Member of the Advisory Committee of 3 Schools of Veterinary Medicine in Peru (UNMSM, UPCH, URP), and 1 School in Mexico (Tamaulipas). Part of the Team for RAM National Plan.
Directed the elaboration of the Draft Law of Work of the Health Professional Veterinarian.
Has formed and presided the Coordinator of Professional Associations for a Sustainable Health(CCPSS) that promotes policies and actions of public health, conformed by 8 Professions of Health.
Has been organizing the Constitution of the First Association of Voluntary Veterinary Doctors in Emergencies and Disasters of Peru (MEVEDPERU).
Interested in promote conservation, sustainable use and welfare of all animals, specially wildlife. With the commintment to disseminate the important role of Veterinary Medicine in public, animal and environmental health. To promote One Health into a multidisciplinary work. To improve quality and innovation in Veterinary Medicine Education and practice.
